‘Alien: Rogue Incursion’ Arrives on Quest 3: Upgraded Gameplay But Downgraded Graphics

  Alien: Rogue Incursion  initially launched on PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets in December, bringing the first VR-native game to the storied ‘Alien’ franchise. Now, developer   Survios  has finally released the game on Quest 3. In our launch-day review, we noted the game’s Xenomorph encounters, highlighted by the enemy’s raptor-like hunting style, were indeed pulse-raising, although were overly encumbered by the sheer repetition of random encounters.  Granted, the game has benefitted from a number of patches though before hitting Quest 3 this week, which you’ll find on the Horizon Store priced at $40. Arguably the most important patch arrived only a few days ago, where Survios rebalanced Xenomorph spawning by adjusting their hearing and vision to prevent overwhelming numbers and overly accurate awareness of the player’s location. Sony Gives Out Free PS Plus Days But Fails To Explain Mysterious PlayStation Network Outage

  The PlayStation Network  has been back up and running  for a bit now, after a major outage took PlayStation 5 and PS4's online features offline for roughly 24 hours at the end of last week. To make up for the extended downtime, Sony is offering every paying PS Plus member a small but free extension of their existing subscription. “We apologize for the inconvenience and thank the community for their patience,” Sony  posted  on X on February 9, the morning after PSN came back online. “All PlayStation Plus members will automatically receive an additional 5 days of service.” It appears this make-good should be added directly to players’ accounts and push back their renewal dates by nearly a week. It’s a nice little gesture but it still doesn’t address why PSN suffered one of the longest outages in the service’s history over the weekend.
